Kaduna Resumes Christian Pilgrimage After 11-12 months Hiatus, Sponsors 50 Pilgrims

Kaduna State has revived its Christian pilgrimage programme after an 11-year suspension, with 50 intending pilgrims set to embark on the religious journey below authorities sponsorship.

The resumption was formally introduced in the course of the 2025 orientation programme and has been broadly welcomed by Christian devoted, who described the transfer as “a powerful assertion of equity, fairness, and inclusive governance.”

Head of Service within the state, Jimami Bako, counseled Governor Uba Sani for restoring the programme, noting that the choice underscores a management method that values religious improvement alongside bodily infrastructure and {economic} progress.
