JUST IN: ICPC invitations El-Rufai for questioning days after EFCC invitation
Mallam Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, former governor of Kaduna State, says the Impartial Corrupt Practices and Different Associated Offences Fee (ICPC) has invited him for questioning.
El-Rufai disclosed this on Friday in a put up on X, stating that the invitation adopted what he described as a failed try and abduct him.
He wrote, “Yesterday, after the futile try and abduct me, the ICPC delivered a letter to ask me to their workplace.”
He added, “My lawyer has written to substantiate that I can be attending the ICPC workplace on Wednesday, 18 February 2026.”
Officers of the ICPC had made makes an attempt to arrest El-Rufai on the Abuja Airport on Thursday, however they have been resisted by buddies and associates of the previous governor,
