“I’m impressed” – Soludo reacts to merchants’ compliance to finish Monday sit-at-home

The governor of Anambra State, Chukwuma Soludo, has reacted to the partial compliance by merchants on the fashionable Onitsha Essential Market with the reopening of the market on Monday.

In a press release issued on X, on Tuesday, the governor mentioned he was impressed by the medical compliance with the directives of the Anambra State authorities on ending the adherence to the Monday sit-at-home order by the Indigenous Individuals of Biafra (IPOB).

His phrases, “I’m impressed by the medical compliance to our directives by Merchants of the Onitsha Essential Market. Within the final 5 years, Onitsha fundamental market has remained shut on Mondays.
