2027: Tinubu Declares Governors as APC Leaders in Their States

President Bola Tinubu has recognized state governors because the leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) of their respective states throughout the federation.

Talking on the official reception of Taraba State Governor, Agbu Kefas, in Jalingo, the president stated the APC is led on the state stage by sitting governors.

Tinubu, who was represented on the occasion by Vice President Kashim Shettima, said that Governor Kefas had turn out to be the APC chief in Taraba State following his defection from the Peoples Democratic Celebration (PDP) to the ruling social gathering.
