The Federal Government has reportedly authorized the banning of money rituals and the public display of vices such as smoking in Nollywood movies.
Shaibu Husseini, Executive Director/CEO of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), made the announcement during a National Stakeholders Engagement on Smoke-Free Nollywood on Wednesday, May 22 in Enugu.
He claimed that the step was designed to prevent the public display of crimes while also sanitizing the sector.
