Real Housewives franchise 'hires' one of Atlanta's 'biggest hair brand owners' in cast shake-up

Snob Life CEO Ming Lee is RHOA’s rumored new cast member for season 16. In just one week, we’ve found out Porsha Williams’ return to the Bravo show after her divorce, and now… a newbie!

Snob Life owner Ming Lee, who is friends with Kandi Burruss, is reportedly joining the show for its big return. Although she isn’t technically a ‘housewife’, The Real Housewives of Atlanta ‘brought’ her on.

Ming Lee is RHOA’s rumored newbie

Ming Lee is RHOA’s rumored new star of season 16. The reported cast member is no stranger to fame, and has been featured in Ebony, Black Enterprise, Rollingout, The Source, Black Hair, Sheen and more.

At 24, Ming Lee started her own hair brand, and is now thought to be venturing into the world of reality TV. After reports started to circulate of her debut, many recognized her as one of Atlanta’s “IT girls”.

She has several links to the reality TV world, such as Love and Hip Hop‘s Mimi Faust and of course, a Housewives of Atlanta fan account, which is possibly the biggest clue so far.

Atlanta’s ‘biggest hair brand owner’

Ming Lee owns Snob Life, a hair brand in Atlanta which gained notoriety as the “most coveted salon in the city for it’s glam decor, roster of highly sought after stylists and Ming’s relatable story of success”.

With a 3.5-star rating on Google Reviews, Snob Life was launched by the hairstylist in 2010, selling top quality Indian, Brazilian and Japanese virgin hair extensions and weaves.

It has evolved from not just an online hair extensions store, but other beauty offerings including lip gloss, lipstick, lashes and hair care products. In 2013, Snob Life opened its first hair salon!

She’s already BFFs with Kandi

Ming Lee was pictured with her daughter, Story, and friends with children recently, one of which is Kandi Burruss. That’s one clear piece of evidence she’s got close links to the RHOA cast, as rumors swirl.

Just a few days ago, a follower told Ming, “Andy [Cohen] needs to stop playing and put y’all on RHOA 🍑 we want some fresh energy and positive vibes this season.” Another said “she’ll be there.”

It could be that Kandi brought her friend in to replace her, having announced she’s taking a break from the Bravo show. And it makes complete sense, as her fans have been begging Ming Lee to join for ages.
