Women Who Build Africa to hold 1st annual Assembly in Kenya

An open invitation has been issued by Women Who Build Africa (WWBA), a group established to bring together and support women working in technology across Africa, as well as investors and ecosystem partners, to express interest in attending their first annual Assembly, which will be held in Nairobi, Kenya, on September 13–14.

Gwera Kiwana (MFS Africa) and Thea Sokolowski (Stitch) established the WWBA community in 2022 with the objective of uniting women and non-binary persons working in the African tech sector and empowering them to create better products.

Ten founders will have the chance to travel to Nairobi on an all-expenses paid trip for its maiden Assembly event, where they will have the chance to network with ecosystem partners and pitch to a room of the leading investors in the area.

Founders, investors, mentors or additional partners can express interest here until August 14.
